| Key performance indicator | Result |
|---|---|
| Increase in SI citations | 428.9% |
| Increase in the number of pages referenced by SI | 177.9% |
| Increase in top-ranking organic visibility | 26.1% |

The Brand and the Starting Point of the Project
Electrolux is a global brand operating across a broad product portfolio, ranging from laundry care and cooking to refrigeration, cleaning and home comfort solutions. Its Türkiye website brings together different product categories alongside support services, accessories and content designed to facilitate users’ decision-making processes.
Due to the brand’s extensive product portfolio and the highly competitive search environment, the primary need was to strengthen Electrolux’s visibility not only for branded searches but also across non-branded user journeys focused on product research, comparison and recommendations.
SEO and GEO Objectives
The project objectives were defined to support the simultaneous growth of traditional organic search visibility and SI Search visibility.
| Focus area | Objective |
|---|---|
| Organic rankings | Strengthen ranking performance across competitive product categories |
| Query coverage | Expand the range of queries achieving visibility in top-ranking positions |
| Content experience | Align product and category content with users’ decision-making processes |
| SI Search visibility | Position Electrolux as a recommended and cited source in SI-generated responses |
| Citation coverage | Extend SI citation performance across a broader group of pages |
| Sustainability | Build a content structure that supports SEO and GEO performance together |
An Integrated SEO and GEO Strategy
The approach developed for Electrolux treated traditional SEO visibility and SI Search visibility not as separate initiatives, but as connected components of the same digital visibility structure.
| Strategic area | Approach |
|---|---|
| Category opportunities | Visibility opportunities across highly competitive product categories were analysed. |
| Search intent | Content opportunities aligned with research, comparison and purchase intent were evaluated. |
| Page comprehensibility | Product and category pages were structured to be understood more accurately by search engines. |
| SI source suitability | Clear and reliable content structures that SI systems could use when generating responses were prioritised. |
| Semantic relationships | Semantic connections between informational guides and commercial pages were strengthened. |
| Performance tracking | Brand visibility, citation performance and referenced-page coverage were monitored together. |
Organic Visibility Strengthened in Top-Ranking Positions
According to Ahrefs’ monthly average data comparing the most recent six-month period with the previous six-month period, Electrolux improved its organic visibility in terms of both coverage and ranking quality.
| Organic visibility metric | Change |
|---|---|
| Visibility within the top three search results | 26.1% increase |
| Total first-page visibility | 10.3% increase |
The fact that growth within the top three results exceeded the increase in overall first-page visibility indicates that Electrolux’s organic rankings became more concentrated in higher positions. This shows that visibility did not simply expand; it also moved towards stronger ranking positions.
Electrolux consequently achieved stronger positions across competitive search results while increasing its potential to reach users closer to making a purchase decision.
SI Citation Performance Increased More Than Fivefold
Across comparable SI platforms and datasets, Electrolux achieved substantial growth in both its number of citations and the range of pages referenced by SI systems.
| GEO and SI Search metric | Result |
|---|---|
| Increase in SI citations | 428.9% |
| Increase in referenced-page coverage | 177.9% |
| SI visibility within the Brantial tracking set | 33.3% |
| Share of brand visibility generated by the strongest-performing SI model | 44.4% |
| Share of guides and product/service pages among source types | 25.5% |
A 428.9% increase in citation performance means that the comparable final level reached approximately 5.3 times its initial level. This growth was accompanied by a 177.9% expansion in the number of pages referenced by SI systems.
The simultaneous growth of these two indicators shows that GEO performance was not dependent on a limited number of pages. Electrolux began appearing in SI-generated responses through a broader content ecosystem.
Distribution of SI Visibility by Model
The strongest-performing SI model generated 44.4% of the brand’s visibility. The remaining 55.6% was distributed across the other SI models included in the tracking set.

The Brantial report also shows that Electrolux’s visibility extended across different product research and recommendation intents, that its average appearance position was within the upper rankings and that overall brand perception was predominantly positive.

These results show that Electrolux achieved stronger ranking positions across competitive product searches and began being used as a source in generative SI responses through a broader group of content pages.

> Data and methodology note: Ahrefs data is based on an estimated organic visibility model. Without access to Google Search Console or web analytics data, the wording “increase in organic traffic” should not be used. Published materials should focus on organic rankings, visibility, SI citation performance and the growth in referenced-page coverage.
